miniEuro rules 2014, Montenegro

  1. The total area of the field is 49 x 28,5 meters. The playing area is 46 x 24,5 meters.
  2. All matches must be six a side.
  3. Matches in miniEURO are 20 minutes each half.
  4. Half time is 5 minutes.
  5. The size of goals is 4 x 2 meters.
  6. There are a maximum of 15 players in a squad.
  7. The ID of all the players in the squad list must be checked before the first game. In other games the players have a duty take a original or copy of ID / passport in each game. If their opponents would like to check their identification this will be done through the referee and must be done before the final match notes are signed. If no copy of ID / Passport is available, that player cannot play in the game. The Referee committee is responsible for nominating the referees for the games.
  8. Players must only be nationals of the country they represent.
  9. A maximum of six team management members are allowed to represent the country on the team bench during games.
  10. There are unlimited substitutions during the game. There will be a third referee that will control right substation process. The third referee will be in charge of sub gate to stop new players entering the pitch until another players is off.
  11. The players must make a substitution from the middle line on side where the benches are located.
  12. If a player received directly red card he is banned from the next game (potentially games according the kind of offense) and his team must play with one player less for five minutes. If player receive two yellow cards in one game he will not miss the next game. But if he received three yellow cards during the miniEURO he is banned from the next game.
  13. Shin pads must be worn.
  14. If a team is late (after official start) then they lose the game by default.
  15. A default win is 5-0.
  16. Players must be male and must be over 16 (players that are younger than 18 must have signed permission from their legal representative).
  17. If a goalkeeper throws the ball into an opponent’s goal then that goal counts.
  18. Sliding is not allowed toward to rivals.
  19. The top two from each group will go through to the knockout stages, along with the best four third placed teams.
  20. In the event that teams are tied on points, their position in the group shall be determined by: a) the result in the game with the team they are tied with, b) goal difference, c) goals scored, d) number of wins, e) EMF ranking, f) according the difficulty of opponents (on base of opponent number of points in EMF ranking), g) draw.
  21. If the ball leaves the field at the side of the pitch, then a player must throw in. He can stand a maximum of 1 meter away from the touchline and his opponent must be minimum of 1.5 meters away.
  22. Goalkeepers are not allowed to pick the ball up after a back pass except passes made from head to knee.
  23. If ball passed the goal line (except goal was scored) the goalkeeper must restart the game by kick off.
  24. A goal can be scored directly from a goal kick.
  25. Moulded studs and metal blades or studs are not allowed. Only turf shoes potentially indoor football shoes.
  26. Each player needs to have a jersey with a number at least 20 cm higher. The maximum high on jersey (player’s back) is 25 cm that is also recommend size from EMF. The number must be same as is written in minutes of the game. If the jersey is damaged the player could take another jersey but with number that nobody wore during the actual game. In this case the captain needs to announce such change to referee before the change will be done.
  27. The Disciplinary committee has authority to impose other fines, up to max. of 250 EUR of any association members whose conduct either on or off the pitch brings the sport of minifootball into disrepute.
  28. Each red card that players got means payment 40 EUR for national association that the player is member.
  29. Each 3rd yellow card means stop in next game. Each direct red card means at least 1 game stop. If players will get a red card after 2 yellow cards can play in next game. Other points have been disagreed.
  30. Poor off-field behavior should also be punishable.
  31. The Disciplinary committee will consist of 3 senior referee from separate countries that will lead referee and miniEURO Tournament Director being Stuart Winton (UK). EC members will be invited to nominate their most senior to discipline panel. The panel will be led by Tim Ollerenshaw (UK), an experienced Sports Lawyer and Disciplinary committee for high rank sports including the World Hockey Federation.
